Exa Releases PowerFLOW 4.4 Suite, Improves the Simulation-Driven Design Process With Reduced Turn-Around Time and Extended Thermal Analysis Capabilities

Burlington, MA (PRWEB) May 09, 2012

Exa Corporation, a global innovator of fluids simulation solutions for product engineering, today announced the latest release of its PowerFLOW product suite, Release 4.4. With nearly one hundred enhancements, this release significantly improves performance and user productivity, streamlining its industry-leading fluids-analysis simulation process. Overall turnaround times are reduced with performance improvements, new incremental discretization technology that accelerates automatic fluid grid creation for modified models, application-specific case setup templates for thermal and aeroacoustic analyses, and dozens of other changes designed to make analysis of complex problems faster and easier.

Our customers are already running large numbers of simulations with PowerFLOW to meet their product development requirements, commented Chuck Alexander, Exas Director of Product Management for Simulation Products. Many customers are now using design space exploration and optimization techniques early in the product development process to gain rapid insight into complex design behavior. This is driving the need for an ever faster and more automated simulation process. PowerFLOW 4.4 provides a more efficient process with new automation capabilities and performance improvements in almost every step of setup, simulation, and analysis.

Many thermal analysis improvements are also included in this suite release. Highlights include a new thermal battery model in PowerTHERM, which enables accurate simulation of the complex thermal and electrical behavior of batteries as well as an improved human comfort model that extends thermal simulation capabilities to include the heat transfer due to evaporation, condensation, blood flow, and sweat.

Auctori Web CMS Launches New Website for Document Management System Provider, PowerFlow Solutions

St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) July 24, 2012

PowerFlow Solutions recently launched their new Auctori web CMS (Content Management System) website to support content management behind the PowerFlow website. PowerFlow document management software was developed to capture document images making them more manageable as digital files.

For their new website, PowerFlow needed scalability, security, search engine optimization (SEO) and ManyLingual capabilities. Using Auctori makes website management easy with the ability to change pages, update content, add documents, modify user accounts and edit photos, while improving SEO, security and scalability.

Auctori is a very user-friendly yet powerful CMS, said Steve Thomas Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Unidev, Auctoris parent company. The PowerFlow design and development, like all Auctori sites, is highly customized to their industry and business goals with specific calls to action and conversion methodology.

The Auctori team planned the navigation, implemented the initial page build and populated all of the web pages with search optimized website content. PowerFlow utilized several features and modules on the new Auctori website. Those features and modules include the customized form module, article module, video module and blog modules.

Were extremely excited about implementing our new website in Auctori, said Brett Taylor, Sales Executive at PowerFlow Solutions. Not only is Auctori a great web CMS, but it also allows us to manage our website more efficiently. That is so important to us.

PowerFlow can use Auctori to gather marketing data, email confirmations, post press releases, share information about events and more.
